Attempts are being made from time to time to apply the knowledge and techniques of psycho-analysis in various modified methods for the treatment of psychotics particularly in mental hospitals. In this book some of the papers have dealt with those modified psycho-analytical techniques in the form of bibliotherapy, hypno-analysis, group therapy, etc. The current therapies in psychiatry should have included psycho-surgery particularly the leucotomy operation.
